Patterned directly from a piece in our archive, with details true to the original. This shirt first appeared in our 1922 catalog, earning its place on the backs of foresters, hunters, and workmen. 

The wool flannel holds warmth, even when soaked. Nylon is added to the yarns for more strength. The hemline curves mirror the asymmetrical cut of the original. The distinctive 3/4-length placket reinforces the button line for strength and structure. The angled pocket bottoms and flaps match an upgraded version of the 1922  original. Cuffs close tight with sturdy buttons. The collar is cut straight and simple, just as it was a century ago.
